As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled network administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our vendor relationships.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and maximum uptime.Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs and develop solutions that meet business objectives.Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to network services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and optimizing costs.Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard sensitive data and systems.Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements to network security.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams, helping resolve network-related issues and optimizing performance.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a network administrator or similar role, preferably in the fintech or banking industry.Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and tools, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols.Experience with network security practices and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.Familiarity with cloud networking principles and technologies, including virtual private clouds (VPCs) and software-defined networking (SDN).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+, are a plus.Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation is desirable.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Join Us:If you are passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and transform the financial industry, Brim Financial Inc. offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading fintech company with a startup mindset.
