For more information, visit miovision.com.Position SummaryThe Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in overseeing general accounting, analyzing variances, driving process improvements and completing the month end close for our CJ Hensch subsidiary based in Texas. Reporting to the Controller and collaborating closely with the General Manager - CJ Hensch, this position requires a high attention to detail and advanced analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Key AccountabilitiesActively support the General Manager by providing financial insights and facilitating strategic decision-making through analysesManage cash flow by monitoring daily transactions, forecasting cash needs, and recommending strategies to improve working capital efficiencyPrepare and analyze, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRSExecute monthly financial closing tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and flux analysisManage the accounts receivable billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCollaborate with department heads on budget development and monitoring. Assist in financial forecasts, identifying areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancementWork with auditors during interim and year-end auditsManage travel and expense reimbursements for field techniciansCoordinate and oversee accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely payments to vendorsContinuously assess and enhance financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
