Job: Automotive Technician 310s / Journey man / Journey person $42.59/hr. after 3 months Shift: Monday - Friday ; Afternoon 2pm - 10.30pm Pay Rate: $42.59/hr. after 3 months' probation+ benefits. Full Time Permanent Location: Oakville- Burlington - Hamilton, ON area Repair: light duty trucks and upcoming electric truck fleet Our client is one of the largest employers in Supply Chain in Canada and have a large fleet of trucks. They have a job open for Automotive Service Technician - Truck Mechanic 310S with diesel Endorsement for their repair shop and the hub based in the Oakville-Burlington ON area. All candidates must be licensed 310s with Diesel endorsement A clear criminal record is required for employment All candidates must have a valid G license. This is a straight shift role 2pm - 10.30pmAutomotive Technician (310S, with diesel endorsement) will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the fleet of Trucks, Cubical Vans, 12- 14- 16 chassis Trucks. You will provide support to the drivers, and operations teams to ensure Health & Safety of the fleet and other assets. You will ensure all Preventative and Predictive Maintenance is done. You will troubleshoot and repair all break downs and technical issues at the shop. You will update the computer system with work order updates and inventory of parts released.Good communication skills in English are a MUST. Ability to work in a team environment and independently is a MUST have. A clear criminal check, written technical test, curb side driving test This is a fast-paced environment.
