Material Handling - Equipment Sales Consultant

In this role you will develop and focus on Material Handling Equipment sales of screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, conveyor idlers and pulleys, and power transmission products.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Sales with Key Accounts, OEM and EPC customers.Collaborates and engages with Field Sales, Marketing, and regional operations to create awareness of Strategic Accounts preferred OEM's.Drive Material Handling CAPEX opportunities with strategic accounts / direct salesEngages with Product Management regarding product / application growth opportunities.Work with OEM / EPC to drive "First Fit" specification opportunities, thus seeding the aftermarket with products.Develop opportunities for new products with OEM / EPC customers.Engage in industry discussions, product training and sales presentations, internal, regional and national events.Experience5+ years of technical sales experience in the industrial marketplaceBachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar, or Business Degree with mechanical aptitudeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (bilingualism French/English an asset)Self-management with the drive to succeed and achieve goalsIndependent ability to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisionsRecognition and ability to effect change and contribute to the organization's goalsTravel to support the Canadian marketplace Engines and Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing,Industrial Machinery Manufacturing,Automation Machinery Manufacturing
