Your new roleThe successful candidate will be reporting to lead architect or Project manager on various projects. You will be working on primarily wood framed, mixed-use, multi-family and projects in British Columbia, this is a great opportunity to participate in the design of exciting projects and to work with a great team of people in a diverse and comprehensive environment. The successful candidate will be highly qualified and experienced Architectural Technologist/Intern Architect. As an integral member of the company, you will contribute to the design and execution of architectural projects.What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will have over 5 years of local BC experience, you possess strong design abilities and in-depth knowledge of wood frame construction and detailing. You have a track record of producing and coordinating construction documents with consultants, and you are well-versed in BCBC, VBBL, and Municipal Zoning Bylaws. You will have proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe CC sets you apart. Additionally, your hand sketching ability is a valuable asset. The successful candidate will be detailed & organized, you approach tasks with a critical eye for detail, maintain exceptionally organized work habits, and excel in time management. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, ability in making presentations to clients and consultants. Your design sensibilities are equally important. The successful candidate will be a team player.
