Our sister brand, Mkt, is an independent design house creating pieces for a modern, edited home. We have four large showrooms within Toronto's Design District. In the Elte Showroom, you'll find Rugs and Carpeting, Furniture, Lighting, Mattresses, Linens and Home Decor. WHO YOU ARE…You are a results-driven manager who is all about coaching and enabling sales teams to deliver outstanding service. You have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience leading high performing team(s) in customer facing environments. As part of the leadership team at Elte, you will fuel your passion for home décor and design while driving the business forward through high expectations. You must be a curious, flexible, resourceful, and dedicated leader. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:5-7 years experience managing a sales team(s)Experience leading a team of commission-based sales professionals is an assetDirect sales experience with luxury goods is preferredExperience with CRM and point-of-sale tools (IE. Salesforce) is an assetInfluential, positive approach to leadershipGoal oriented, competitive & business driven mindsetEffective problem-solving skills; able to break down complex issues into actionable itemsDemonstrate servant leadership through hands on people developmentFlexible and adaptable to change; change management skills are an assetStrong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with cross-functional teamsWHAT YOU WILL DO (among other things):Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of sales professionalsDrive sales through effective coaching and developing of teamEnsure successful pipeline of sales opportunities through business development strategiesInspire teams to deliver world class service, leading by exampleConsistently uphold and maintain the visual standards of the showroomAddress client requests & solve customer service issuesLead daily and weekly department meetingsHold weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reportsSupport executing department & company initiativesChampion and act as an ambassador for the Elte brand If you are interested in this career opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!
