My client, a manufacturing company is looking for an HR Generalist to support all human resources programs such as compensation and benefits, employee or labour relations, performance management, training and development and staffing and recruitment. You will be responding to employee inquiries regarding Human Resource policies and procedures and identifying and/or resolving potential grievances. The Role:Recruits and Coordinate the screening, interviewing and hiring process for all levels of employmentProvide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, layoffs, vacation requests and attendanceProduce HR metrics every month that include employee turnover, performance appraisal status, internal promotions and trainingCoordinate and administer employee training and development adhering to IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 procedures.The Person:Post-secondary education in Human Resources (Diploma or Degree)2- 4 years experience working as an HR Coordinator or HR GeneralistFamiliar with the Employment Standards Act along with Federal and Provincial legislation related to employmentExperience working with HRIS systems, Workday preferred, PeopleSoft also an assetDisability Management and Training coordination is highly sought after for this role. Manufacturing experience desirable with facilities over 300 employeesClaims Management experience Motor Vehicle Manufacturing
