Location: 530 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, CanadaCore hours: Monday to Friday from 8am - 4:30pm PSTWe value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 3-5 days per week.Role SummaryAs the Director of Marketing, you will produce results by inspiring and coordinating the efforts of a team of marketing professionals. Using Customer data and marketing insights, you are responsible for the successful implementation of all product launches, corporate marketing programs, and branded marketing initiatives (with the exception of Public Relations initiatives). You will liaise with Eminence's senior leadership and work closely with Digital Marketing, Product Development, Customer Education, Business Development, Sales, and Supply Chain Teams to grow sales and maximize the return on marketing promotions and initiatives. You will report to the VP of Marketing & Communications.If you have a passion for marketing operations, innovation, and ideating compelling campaigns, then we are confident you'll be outstanding in this role.ResponsibilitiesDefine the marketing strategy that is based on analysis and research and enable the team to make intelligent decisionsOversee the marketing roadmap, ensuring marketing launches and promotions are evaluated, selected, implemented, and evolved to meet the marketing teams' needs and the needs of our CustomersDevelop and implement strategies for capturing market trends and insights with a focus on our Spa Partners and Retail CustomersDevelop strategies that promote and strengthen the Eminence Brand, support financial growth, and streamline marketing operations proceduresCommunicate a compelling and inspiring version of the Annual Plan and Strategic Goals to the Marketing TeamEnsure our operations are running smoothly, track performance, and provide marketing insights based on data and resultsApprove marketing collateral and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, gauge audience reaction and direct future marketing activity based on resultsWork with the President (when necessary) to establish an evolving brand while bringing the brand to life through creative and design elementsOffer feedback and approval on marketing collateral, including print production and creative pieces, to drive Client satisfaction from Spa Partners and Retail Customers through compelling launch strategiesCollaborate with the Marketing Launch & Promotions Team Lead and Marketing Programs Team Lead to create cohesive on-brand launches, promotions and programsEnsure each launch meets or exceeds expectations in innovation, increased brand awareness and continuous market share and financial growthMeasure and analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities and campaignsPartner with Business Development and Public Relations on the marketing deliverables required to ensure Eminence shows up on brand and in a compelling way at tradeshows, networking and PR eventsOversee the hiring of Marketing Team-members, including recruiting and retaining Team-members as neededMonitor and coach all Marketing Team-members by communicating progress on key goals, expectations and performanceApply and share expertise to implement best practices while also reviewing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvementQualifications8+ years of experience in marketing with a minimum of 5 years managing a teamBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experienceProven track record in developing and executing marketing strategiesStrong leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performance teamsCollaborative experience with cross-functional teams in areas such as Supply Chain, Sales, and Product DevelopmentExperience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, particularly in spa and health and beauty - an assetExperience in Product Launch Management (conception through to SKU Rationalization) with consumer package goods an assetCorporate Communications experience is an assetExperience working in brand management/governance an assetYou have a passion for organizing and automating processesYou are analytically creative, with the mindset of a business analyst and the creativity of a marketing expertAbility to lead in a fast-paced, changing environment with shifting prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office productsTotal RewardsCompetitive salary, quarterly and annual bonuses based on individual and company goals100% employer-paid premiums for extended health, health spending account, wellness program, green transportation incentive, various paid time-off options available from your first day, and product discountsFocus on professional development, 1:1 meetings with your leader, tuition assistance program and length of service rewardsThe Application Please submit a resume with a cover letter.Closing date for applications: Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at 9pm PST.
