Apply today to join a firm that is dedicated to you.We are seeking an HRIS Implementation Analyst to join our team. This role can be based out of any of our offices nationally. This opportunity is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension.The HRIS Implementation Analyst will play a vital role in the successful implementation of the Talent technology portfolio. The Analyst will bring a unique combination of technical expertise and subject matter knowledge in Talent Services, Total Rewards and Payroll Services to support the deployment of the new technology. Collaborating closely with the Total Rewards project team and cross-functional teams, they will promote the adoption of best practices in solution delivery and design in alignment with the Firm's strategic goals and commitment to enhancing the employee experience.Key Responsibilities:Business AnalysisWork collaboratively with stakeholders to understand the Firm's strategic and operational expectations and challenges impacting the delivery of Talent initiatives.In tune with industry trends and emerging technologies, must be able to identify innovative solutions that drive Talent process improvements specifically aligned to business requirements.Meet with third-party vendors to gather and document comprehensive business requirements and data structures to ensure optimal integration with potential systems.Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.In partnership with Talent leadership, develop a business case and implement a strategic transformation roadmap for Talent technology.Lead the vendor assessment, interviews, RFP, and selection process with a well-defined strategy.Project Management (System Implementation and Integration)Contribute to project management activities such as determining and estimating project efforts, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, as well as escalating and communicating possible issues.Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to design and lead customizations and integrations with other enterprise systems.Ensure seamless data flow between the new solution and external/internal systems, maintaining data accuracy and system reliability.Assist with the migration from the legacy system to the new HRIS system.Act as a primary point of contact for technical issues, integrations, and testing during each phase of the project.Training and SupportProvide support post-implementation to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption by actively monitoring and maintaining the system.Work with the Learning team to develop impactful training and support for end-users on system functionality, ensuring effective system utilization.Work with the Project Manager to develop a strategic and timely communication plan.What you'll bring:College diploma or university degree in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience with HRIS implementation, configuration, and integrations.Information Technology training and certification.Strong technical skills with HRIS software, data management, and integration. Working knowledge of UKG Pro is an asset.Comprehensive understanding of Talent and Total Rewards programs and processes, including Payroll, Group Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Performance, IDEA, and Learning.Familiarity with relevant Total Rewards compliance and regulations.Proficiency in gathering business and system requirements and translating them into effective solutions.Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing integrations between HRIS and third-party systems.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Expertise in managing various stakeholder expectations in delivering solutions to meet business requirementsSound knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards, including design, development, interfaces, work flow and testing.Demonstrates strong analytical skills, a process-focused mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.What we offer:We believe in the importance of a Total Compensation package, ensuring our mix of salary is competitive within the market as well as a work-life balance.Who we are:Miller Thomson LLP is one of Canada's fastest-growing national business law firms, with strategically placed offices across the country.
