 KAPP Infrastructure is a Canadian General Heavy Civil Contractor with 40 years of experience in infrastructure construction projects. We deliver marquee projects in key markets including water distribution, hydro, underground works, large bridge structures, and other major civil works. Work in these markets is delivered in all geographies throughout Ontario and should be thought to include not only traditional project delivery, but all alternative modes such as DB, CMCG and EPCM. We are conveniently located in Vaughan close to the 407 and 427 directly off Highway 50. The Role: We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our Vaughan based team as a Proposal Coordinator. This is an opportunity to join a company with 40 years of construction experience. As a key member of the KAPP Infrastructure team, the Proposal Coordinator will work closely with corporate and regional buildings teams on developing and submitting proposals, leading marketing tactics and supporting business development initiatives. Here is what you will focus on:Coordinate proposal preparations and submissions.Vet and distribute Request for Pre-Qualification/Request for Proposal (RFPQ/RFP) information to the pursuit team.Preform pre-qualification and proposal submissions identifying and compiling requirements into a formal and engaging document,Create and distribute the responsibility matrix with the pursuit team.Support tender submissions by preparing technical means and methods and related experience.Build an internal library of historical project information and resources.Support the company's development in major projects and underground markets/projects.Provide support to the Claims department, preparing supporting documents and reports to aid in the claims process.Centralize and standardize RFP content.Set deadlines for content and manage.Strategize on proposal content and work with identified proposal lead.Arrange and record proposal team meetings.Work with external vendors and stakeholders to obtain their input and information.Review and editing of proposal material.Arrange for and manage proposal reviews and required debriefing.Copy, collate, bind, distribute, courier, deliver all proposals; and share lessons learned and practices.Incorporate a continuous improvement mindset post submission:Track proposals - submissions, successes, opportunities for improvementAct as the single point of contact for all RFP, RFPQ, Expressions of Interest (EOI), and other such communications.Create new and update employee resumes and project sheets as needed.Ensure consistent look and feel for all submittals.Ensure proposal quality and compliance.Archive information and keep marketing database up to date; and maintain marketing information files, obtain project information at start of the project and create project folder. Manage and update this information as project progresses and upon completion.What we are looking for:Undergraduate degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, or business-related field.5-10 years' experience in construction sales, business development or marketing environment with proposal creation responsibility.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.Experience working with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).Experience working with a CRM tool (Microsoft Dynamics) considered an asset.Excellent project coordination skills and understanding of key business processes.Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment.Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them.Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment.Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude.Previous experience working in a corporate construction, architecture, and/ or engineering environment considered an asset.  What you can expect from us:  ·       A great work experience.·       A competitive salary and advantageous bonus plan.·       An environment that focuses on KAPP's Core Values; Integrity, Respect, Trust, Honesty, Fairness and Loyalty.·       We promote a collaborative environment where you will be challenged to learn and do. ·       We promote team spirit. ·       Industry and project required safety training.·       A focus on safety and health and wellness including an on-site company provided lunch.
