Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager/ Estimator to join our Facilities Maintenance team. The individual will be hired to visit their residential/ commercial portfolio and determine repairs as needed. Many of the repairs/ restoration review will be of capital nature.ResponsibilitiesVisit multiple sites and determine the properties structural, mechanical, architectural integrity.Prepare budgets/ cost structures and present Capital Budget while coordinating with Facilities Management team.Support all aspects of subcontractor and supplier estimating and bidding processes. Work on multiple company bids simultaneously and delivery in accordance with deadline objectives. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures. Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, engineers & consultants.Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, landlords, contractors, and subcontractors, and prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Help manage/supervise capital projects when required. QualificationsRelative education in the fields of architecture & engineering Strong multi-tasking ability Detail Oriented Exceptional organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiating skills Strong computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Excel. Financial and Job Cost Accounting Knowledge. Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans. Ability on Yardi is an asset. Familiarity with estimating software5 - 10 years of construction experience preferred Real estate,Facilities Services
