Restoring instead of replacing wherever we can is the right thing for our customers and our planet, and it's a big part of what makes Tremco Roofing and WTI so unique.If you're looking for a place to build a career and a life, with great benefits, advancement opportunity, technology, people and a commitment to a sustainable future, you've found it with us.Tremco Canada is currently searching for a Regional Sales Manager in Toronto.Job Purpose: Manages and directs a sales force to generate sales of roofing material and services to achieve sales and profit goals within a designated region.Responsibilties: Supervision and trainingDevelop annual strategic business planEvaluate the region to identify the sales potential for the upcoming year, take into account environmental factors in Canada and within the region such as economy, competitive practices, product applicable to region and product focus for yearMeet with sales reps to align their plans with regional planReport on sales activitiesReport on regional activities as it relates to sales and marketing objectivesMeet regional sales targetHire, train and develop reports to maximize performance and meet sales and market objectivesSupport the sales reps to accomplish goals by assisting them during sales process (going on calls), ensuring they have the appropriate marketing material, facilitating networking, resources, assisting with seminars and other eventsCoach reports to use different selling techniques/approaches to maximize potential for specification development in region.Maintain relationships with existing roofing contractors, architects, engineers, and clientsMeet with the team for progress updates, review upcoming events and to share information about product changesNew Business DevelopmentRepresent the company at trade shows, conferences and other related events to promote our product and develop new contactsAct as a member of relevant associations to network for new businessDevelop brand in region by ensuring all marketing materials are relevant to region and through performing local marketing activitiesEducation and Skills:Undergraduate Degree in Business, Marketing, Sociology, English, Architecture, or Engineering preferredLEED CertificationLeadership and Managerial SkillsExperience:8-10 Years of Management ExperienceSales Experience or Sales Management ExperienceBenefits:Tremco offers a variety of benefits to its employees, including not limited to: health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, RRSP, Performance Based Commission, and continuing education.
