The Consulting Manager will be responsible for a team of Healthcare Consultants and their respective clients.

Key Performance Objectives

People Management
  • Implementation and management of the consulting strategy and projects into the consulting team
  • High level feedback and reporting on a monthly basis
  • Mentorship of the Consultants
  • Management of staff related issues
  • Development and management of the KRA process
    • Consulting Manager to develop and run with the Consultant KRA documentation
    • Annual review of job spec for the Consultants role
      • Completion of Consultant job spec
      • Job spec to be communicated annually to the team
  • Team processes to be reviewed and amended as and when necessary and as agreed to with the Healthcare Director.
Client responsibilities
  • Project management of new clients into their respective teams
  • Attend high level strategy meetings with the Consultants until required competency levels are achieved
  • Control the overall ICU and CRM client strategy for all clients
  • Ensure that a minimum of two CRM visits per client per year take place within your team and your allocated clients
  • Ongoing management of all Consultant clients
  • Build strong strategic and business relationships with clients
Management of Service Providers
  • Hold strategic relationships with medical scheme administrators’ service teams
  • Hold strategic relationships with alternative product providers (i.e. OcsaCare, PrimeCure etc.)
  • Monthly sign off of consultant client allocations, revenue and revenue allocation
  • Management of service delivery versus client revenue
  • Sign off of leave and travel claims.
Design of strategic reporting templates
  • Assistance with putting together of strategic reporting templates for the Consultants
  • Training to staff on strategic reporting templates where applicable
Other
  • Compliance with the NMG Style guide
  • Identify and pursue new business and cross-selling opportunities
  • Stats management for team.
  • A three year business qualification and/or 10 years industry experience
  • Will need to meet the requirements as set out by FAIS.
