Be an integral part of the Middle East Traffic team where you will have the opportunity to work on iconic traffic studies, traffic control regulations and traffic impact assessment. You will work closely with our client to help in reviewing traffic studies that will improve the flow of traffic. Our Transport and Logistics team is seeking a competent Senior Traffic Engineer, with experience in large-scale traffic studies to bring new ideas to our exciting client. You will be able to exchange ideas, solutions and keep up with traffic progress and development. You will analyze traffic data including traffic flow, traffic surveys and preparation of appropriate solutions to achieve smooth traffic. As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will work in the areas of Traffic Engineering Design including traffic signals, interchange evaluation, roundabouts, signing/pavement marking, MOT; ITS Design including Interconnect design, DMS and system detection design. On the Traffic Operations side the areas include - traffic operations analysis, safety analysis and traffic macro/micro modeling. You will work closely with other members of the team in delivering traffic engineering projects including traffic operational analysis, traffic microsimulation models, roadway design, signal design, ITS design, signing and marking, and/or construction traffic control plans, etc. You will develop leadership skills by providing technical direction and mentoring to less experienced personnel. Here’s what you’ll need : As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation/Traffic engineering discipline. You will have professional experience on Traffic and ITS design projects with strong analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills. You will have experience in the preparation of plans, specification and estimates to state and local standards, preparation of technical reports. Proficiency with Traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, Sidra, DynusT, VISSIM, VISUM, HCS, HSM). Your interpersonal skills will allow you to influence and communicate with high profile stakeholders from within the government and private sector. Middle East experience is desirable and particularly in Qatar. Jacobs. A world where you can.
