What you will do Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role, you will communicate information about our science and products to medical community and provide field observations to internal partners serving patients:
  • Engage with healthcare stakeholders to share clinical and scientific information, aligning with Amgen's strategic goals.
  • Educate stakeholders, including payers and providers, about clinical benefits, outcomes, scientific principles, and economic considerations.
  • Address unsolicited inquiries in compliance with MSL standards.
  • Relay field insights and observations to internal teams.
  • Execute scientific engagement strategies as per the annual objectives set for MSLs.
  • Create and implement local opinion leader (OL) strategies that align with the overall scientific engagement plan.
  • Conduct speaker training sessions and update them on the latest scientific data as needed.
  • Facilitate Amgen-sponsored research and potentially lead study initiatives.

  • Clinical/Science Degree (e.g., MD, PhD) that provides knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts within a relevant field.
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge in Medical Education and Qualitative/Quantitative Research standards and reporting.
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge in Medical Writing.
  • Proficient in English and other local languages.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ethics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior proven experience as MSL
  • Experience in clinical study management and conduct, and scientific publication
