Job Details Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing superior healthcare services by ensuring efficiency and safety in our operating rooms. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a team of committed healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
- Arrange and inventories sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the surgical team.
- Understand and apply the principles of asepsis. Establish and maintain sterile field and assure team maintains sterile environment.
- Assist in preparation and moving of patients.
- Cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes instrumentation. Assists with clean-up and room turnover.
- Access computer information as needed, such as preference lists and digital images.
- Maintain unit supplies by requisitioning and receiving supplies then stocking patient rooms and supply areas to meet patient care needs. Inventory control.
- Participates in all safety initiatives. Adheres to programs such as SCIP and SCOAP quality initiatives.
