SUMMARY The Sr. Director, Human Resources Business Partner reporting to the VP of HR serves as the HRBP leader within the Leadership Team for the Philippines location. He/She will create a highly effective organization that meets and exceeds all our internal & external business goals & objectives. This position includes performance and talent management, career planning and development, coaching and counseling, strategic workforce planning, interpretation and application of policy and procedure, facilitating effective communication, learning & development, rewards programs, talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational strategy & development. As the Leader of the HRBP team, we need someone to bring strong leadership that results in high engagement, client satisfaction and creates outcomes that enhance our business results. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Align HR strategy, goals, and objectives to overall business and site strategy and objectives; develop HR business strategies to drive key performance results; provides guidance on talent management, workforce relations, organization design and compensation to develop needed solutions.
  • Provide leadership to the HRBP team.
  • Maintain broad-based knowledge of the organization and its operations; uses knowledge of business and HR metrics to make business decisions.
  • Collaborate and influence across HR and engages appropriate subject matter experts to execute key strategic HR issues for their client group.
  • Establish and maintain consistent HR services for the operating entity
  • Lead and/or mentor HR professionals and others within the organization.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leadership at all levels on behavioral and business-related issues.
  • Provide a strategic HR approach to the business but will operate with a “roll up your sleeves” generalist mentality to daily challenges and tasks.
  • Recommend improvements to policies, programs, and procedures related to the effectiveness of the HR function.
  • Utilize business/HR metrics on talent, teammate actions, overtime, global headcount, terminations, and voluntary attrition to recommend actions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in a related field such as Human Resources or Organizational Psychology.
  • Minimum 10 years of HR Business Partner experience across a range of competencies.
  • Must have experience in at least 3 of the HR Specialty functions; compensation, change management, talent management, organizational effectiveness, or labor relations.
  • Extensive experience with employee relations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Must be able to work 10PM – 7AM shift in the Manila or Cebu Office
  • Demonstrated experience leading through strategic and transactional change.
  • Demonstrated initiative in determining new or modifying existing HR policies and procedures and effectively communicating them to organization.
  • Demonstrated organizational leadership and decision-making capability at a senior management level in a collaborative manner.
  • Ability to communicate to staff and leaders the short and long-term impact, specific and strategic, of HR policy and procedures.
  • Ability to be collaborative and drive progress and the ability to translate complex issues in terms readily understandable to a broad audience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to achieve goals and align interests through cooperation and collaboration with other groups and cross-functional teams, even where no direct reporting relationship exists.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
  • Act as teammate champion and change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teammate engagement instilling a “can-do” mentality.
