Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Quixel, Pakistan

We’re looking for a Senior Quality Assurance/Test Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. Quality Assurance at Quixel is the gatekeeper of excellent product delivery, ensuring all product releases, hotfixes, and patches are error free, of top quality, and deliver value to our customers. You will work closely with our Engineering, Product, Support and Design teams to develop, manage, and execute test plans ensuring highest quality of the products.In this role, you will

• Acquire deep understanding of product specifications and their intended value
• Evaluate testing needs and develop Quality Assurance/Test plans based on requirements
• Work cross functionally in Agile/Scrum environment along with Product Management and Development to deliver high quality solutions.
• Design and create suitable testing environments and test methodologies
• Ensure end-to-end testing and sign off on the ship-ready products and features
• Automate tests to validate applications by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance/Testing
• Familiarity with automation tools/languages such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, Spectron is a must
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering methodologies
• Experience with various commercially available tools, such as Asana, Jira, Git
• Experience in testing web, desktop, and mobile applications
• Hands on experience of developing test cases, plans, strategies
• Excellent logical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Linux, MacOS, Windows, Android, and iOS
• You’re user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership skills with a positive attitude, and desire to build and maintain world-class teams
• Ability to work under pressure while keeping a cool and composed attitude

Nice to have skills

• Understanding of code design patterns, web technologies, and dev ops
• Scripting in common computer languages, such as Python
• Knowledge of game engines (UE4, Unity, etc) and 3D tools (Maya, 3ds Max, etc)Strong sense of design and UX, and a desire to get the details right
• Knowledge and interest in the fundamentals of computer graphics
• Knowledge of security principles especially in relation to ecommerce
