ACCOUNTABILITIES - Assure decisions taken in the Piping discipline are in accordance with Company standards, policies and procedures, of the required quality, completeness and consistency to support delivery of safe and fit for purpose solutions for assigned projects / studies. - Drive cost optimization at early stages in project evolution and further matured during subsequent project stages through application of value engineering principals. - Communicate and maintain a high level of operational, technical design and safety knowledge for Company / other operators Assets - Provide expert advice in the field of Piping Engineering and be able to represent Company within the North Field operators community / wider. - Present technical issues to senior management with a view to endorsement of budget/technical/best practice and value engineering. JOB DIMENSIONS - Act as mentor to junior piping engineers providing necessary support for their continuous professional development. - Lead studies/tasks from pre-project through to Detailed & Installation Engineering Design by overseeing Company and Engineering contractors’ teams to provide optimal best in class implemented solutions for multi-million USD scopes. - Report to team lead / senior management any defects, threats and their solutions to protect ongoing safe production operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
