Role Overview We're looking for a highly capable IT Support Specialist to join our HR Operations department to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role, your duties will include ensuring optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and securing data. You will also be required to advise on IT equipment upgrades. What you’ll be working on
- Consulting with departments as required and providing IT assistance to staff
- Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs
- Resolving employee IT problems in a timely manner
- Maintaining and managing our hardwares that employees hold
- Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics
- Updating computer software, as well as upgrading hardware and system.
- Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests
- Setting up security systems for our employees to ensure compliance
- Acting as the first point of contact to employees on any IT or account matters
- Managing and optimizing the costs of our existing softwares and tools (Gsuite, Slack, Notion, etc..)
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
- 1-3 years of experience as an IT support specialist
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
- Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users
- Proficiency in IT helpdesk software
- Great people and communication skills
