- Review and analyse key exposures, limits and their utilization and highlight position concentration in the portfolio and flag downside risks if any under prevailing market conditions as well as stressed market conditions.
- Assist in resolution of Traded Market Risk limits issues (applications and excesses). This includes monitoring the applicability of the limits and implementation of policies and procedures to the local context in Africa & Middle East (AME) region.
- Ensure all market risk activities, emerging risk scenarios are identified and monitored on a timely basis. This includes timely investigation and reporting of limit excesses and follow up of its review / approval by the Regional/Group office.
- Ensure compliance with the Group Stress testing framework and review and update stress scenarios narrative and stress shocks periodically and on an ad hoc basis.
- Assist in the preparation of portfolio review documents and prepare regular risk summaries for senior management in TRM
