Job Title SR RESERVOIR ENGINEER Reference Code OG7004145Company QatarEnergy is a stateowned public corporation establishedbyEmiri Decree No 10 in 1974 It is responsible for all phases of theoiland gas industry in the State of Qatar The principal activities ofQatarEnergy its subsidiaries and jointventures are the explorationproduction local and international saleof crude oil natural gas andgas liquids refined products syntheticfuels petrochemicals fueladditives fertilizers liquefied natural gas LNG steel andaluminium Qatar Energys strategy of conducting hydrocarbon explorationanddevelopment is through Exploration and Production SharingAgreements EPSA and Development and Production Sharing AgreementsDPSA concluded with major international oil and gas companies Theoperations and activities of QatarEnergy and its affiliatesareconducted atvarious onshore locations including Doha Dukhan andthe Mesaieed andRas Laffan Industrial Cities as well as offshoreareas including HalulIsland offshore production stations drillingplatforms and the NorthField Thriving on a spirit of enterprise eachof our joint ventures isunderpinned by transparency innovation andhigh standards of qualityand service At QatarEnergy we are committedto one thing aboveall Excellence Department OPERATED OFFSHORE OILFIELD DEVELOPMENT Primary Purpose Of Job Directs and participatesin reservoir management and well surveillance activities which areproperly designed to meet the production and reservoir targetsobjectives and to optimise the performance of an oilfield To followup and assure with the team members other sections and departmentsthat the ongoing reservoir management and surveillance activities aredone as per reservoir management plan and department requirementsContribute to the periodic production planning and reservoirsurveillance planning Design and follow up of the execution ofwelltest programmes Perform analysis and interpretation of RFT MDTdata Evaluate well and reservoir performance and recommend productionimprovement opportunities Experience Skills 15 years experience ofpracticing reservoir engineering in reservoir management fieldoperations and monitoring Excellent communication and interpersonalskills Should have a demonstrated ability to perform as an effectiveteam member in a multidisciplinary team Should have the ability toguide and help more junior members of the reservoir engineers in theteam Education BSc or MSc in Petroleum Engineering or relatedfields is required Fluent in English demonstrated verbal and written #J-18808-LjbffrApply safely
