About the role

We are currently searching for a Lead – Product Costing to join our dynamic team based in Manila. This highly visible and critical role delivers product costing and transfer price execution for the business, working closely with Regional Management and delivering standardised product and manufacturing cost planning, analysis and performance reporting for the business. The key purpose of this role is to drive visibility of performance and to provide insights and analysis for better decision making across the business. What you will be doing

Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasts  
  • Ensures monthly updates to product costing, to ensure timely and accurate values
  • Ensures manufacturing costs are properly accounted for in a consistent way across the site/s complying to policy & standards
  • Key contributing member to the Orica mandated annual budget process in Region including preparation and analysis
  • Key contributing member to the Orica mandated financial forecasting process in Region including preparation and analysis
  • Responsible for reporting PPV and other variance analysis for the respective business where applicable.
  • Assist in the preparation of additional schedules & reporting for half year and full year
  Administration and Compliance   
  • Responsible for the management of master data supporting product costing, ensuring adequate reviews and controls.
  • Maintain and improve financial frameworks and simple measures for tracking manufacturing performance
  • Responsible for managing ad hoc requests for data and reporting within the team
  • Provide support to finance and manufacturing managers in region to understand variance analysis on cost and margin.
  • Responsible for creation, maintenance and compliance to appropriate controls and processes around costing
  • Proactively identifying and implementing improvements

What you will bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business discipline
  • Professional designation CA, CMA, or CPA
  • 5 years post graduate experience in accounting or finance (or related discipline)
  • SAP knowledge essential. Understanding of other SAP modules i.e. BPC / BI Hana would be advantageous.
  • Standard costing experience in a large, global business in a similar role
