Risk and Internal Controls Manager

PagoNxt is looking for a Risk and Internal Controls Manager · Area: Merchant Solutions Brazil · Location: Brazil (Hybrid - Porto Alegre or São Paulo) PagoNxt (a Santander company) incorporates the most disruptive payment businesses, creating one of the world’s largest private fintech. We operate in three business areas: · Merchant Solutions: For merchants and acquirers · Trade Solutions: For Corporates and SMEs · Consumer Solutions: Digital products and services for individuals This is a development opportunity in our Merchant Solutions team, responsible for building a global, open merchant payment platform to create opportunities for merchants and acquirers worldwide. The Risk and Internal Controls Manager will lead the team responsible for managing the non-financial risks and internal controls. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Ensure the implementation of the Risk framework – Operational Model from identification to mitigation;
• Disseminate the risk and controls culture across the company;
• Reporting the risk and controls metrics to global function;
• Guide from the risk perspective to strategic projects;
• Implement and maintain the internal controls model - adherence to SOC 1 certification;
• Training and developing of risk and internal controls team;
• Team leadership and management.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

• Depth of knowledge in Risk and Internal Controls and financial sector;
• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience;
• Solid experience in Risks and Controls;;
• Experience with implementation of internal controls model;
• Data analytics and automation mindset;
• Advanced English.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Intermediate Spanish
• Experience in auditing or public companies
• Experience in international companies
