About Our Client
The client is a global health and safety company offering diagnostic and laboratory solutions to various industries. They are currently looking for a business unit manager to expand their new brand in Manila.Job Description
The Business Unit Manager is responsible for:- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies to achieve the business unit's goals and objectives in alignment with the overall company's mission and vision.
- Financial Management: Managing the unit's budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, and ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
- Team Leadership: Recruiting, training, and supervising employees within the business unit, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Performance Monitoring: Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitoring and assessing the unit's performance against these metrics.
- Customer Relations: Developing, building, and maintaining strong relationships with customers or clients, ensuring their needs are met or exceeded.
- Market Analysis: Staying informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with senior management, other business units, and stakeholders to provide updates, seek support, and address issues or challenges.
- Revenue Growth: Implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, such as expanding the customer base, launching new products, or entering new markets.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identifying and cultivating partnerships or alliances that can benefit the business unit and contribute to its success.
- Reporting: Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on the business unit's performance, challenges, and opportunities.
