Head of Retail Electricity Supplier

Our client is a leading Renewable Energy developer.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the operation and management of an electric supply business, requiring an understanding of ERC's rules, codes, and guidelines.
• Establish and operate an automated information exchange system approved by the ERC for business-to-business (B2B) communications and transactions within the customer transfer system.
• Engage in necessary access or interconnection arrangements and contracts with the Grid and System Operator, as well as one or more Distribution Utilities.
• Ensure compliance with transactional requirements from the Market Operator or any contractual obligations with industry participants, if applicable.
• Conduct negotiations with Contestable Customers for the sale of electricity.
• Negotiate with Generation Companies for the supply of electricity to be sold to Contestable Customers.

The Successful Applicant

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Management, Economics, Commerce, or an equivalent field.
• Willingness to travel, work on call, and possess knowledge of technical diagrams and flow charts.
• Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in a similar role within a Retail Electricity Supplier.
