Jazeera Airways - Material and Supply Chain Manager

Jazeera Airways is looking for an experienced professional for Material and Supply Chain Manager to be based out of Kuwait who would be responsible for managing the day-to-day activity of the Materials Department to ensure the availability of material for supporting the aircraft maintenance, monitor and control the inventory, coordinate with manufacturers and other airlines, with regards to provisioning/pooling and to negotiate and make contractual agreements, which fall under Maintenance & Engineering Responsibility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Establish Materials Management Policy and Procedures, issuance of policy directive and instructions in respect of Materials Management
2. Ensure compliance of company policy related to Materials function covered under SCM / CAMME requirement
3. Develop good network of vendors/other airlines to ensure the availability of material for supporting the aircraft maintenance in efficient manner
4. Direct process of purchasing, material planning, shipping and receiving inspection and ensure proper control system is made available
5. Control Jazeera Airways assets and maintain precise control of materials inventory and re inventory for account auditing

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in Materials/Procurement Management out of which a minimum of 5 years should be as a Materials and Supply Chain Manager/Procurement Manager in an Airline
• Knowledge of EASA Part M, EASA Part 145 and KUWAIT DGCA regulations
• Comprehensive knowledge, in respect to aircraft regulations and standards applicable to Jazeera fleet
