We are looking for : Facilities Shift Operation Leader Location: Kulim, Kedah Working Hours: 12 hours shift (4 days work 2 days off) The Shift Lead is responsible for driving maintenance programs (including routine inspection, corrective, and preventive activities) with a focus on system reliability, with the application of Best Practices and a wide range of engineering principles and practices.- Implement mandatory routine inspections in conformance to Standard Operating Procedures and reliability governance.
- Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring of facilities system performance, critical parameters, and loading.
- Facilitate and administer reliability improvement projects including isolation and Testing and Commissioning, and other experimental simulations.
- Interface directly with clients to identify and analyze critical needs, define problems, and develop specifications to guide the solution process.
- Implement risk assessment which identifies operational risks including occupational health and safety, fire safety, and essential services, and environmental.
- Lead Work in Progress Review Board (WPRB) forum for comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plan review.
- Drive initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement. Energy Conservation and Innovation
- Support initiatives and strategies for energy conservation with feasibility assessment, cost, optimization, and engineering analyses.

- Ensure feedback from the client is recorded and action is taken to the end user’s satisfaction. Lead by example in achieving maximum client satisfaction level.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all information reported associated with Daily Shift Ops Report, Weekly MRM Report, Monthly Report, Risk Assessment, BAR, Maximo PM Closure, and other imperative updates.
- Work closely with the JLL Management team to devise new and innovative methods of learning built around skill development, leadership, and succession planning.
- Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, and performance excellence.
- Coach the team ensuring high staff morale, trust and work ethics
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 3 - 5 years’ industrial experience in leading engineering initiatives in facilities management. Semiconductor facilities experience would be an added advantage.
- Able to work independently, possess integrity and a right sense of urgency to meet deadlines, including work irregular hours for any urgent support.
- Interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work on 12 hours shifts
