Director, Human Resources

SOCi is seeking a Director, Human Resources to act as liaison and advisor to business leaders managing a leased team through our partner KMC. The Director of Human Resources (HR) will report to SOCi's Chief People Officer and play a crucial role in establishing and building the HR function for our organization's onsite operations in Manila. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong vendor management, project management, team-building, employee relations, talent acquisition, and business mindset skills. The successful candidate will be proactive, have experience in supporting outsourced talent, and be adept at building infrastructure to support the organization's growth.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  1. Build and lead a high-performing HR team in Manila, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  2. Ensure that leased employee engagement and performance meets the expectations of the organization.
  3. Leverage experience in supporting and managing outsourced talent, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
  4. Manage relationship with KMC.
  5. Coordinate with KMC HR team to guide SOCi managers through the leased employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, process of performance management, professional development, coaching and mediation, termination and offboarding).
  6. Be a culture champion promoting company values to guide decision-making and drive thoughtful and effective change management in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Act as a key influencer and advocate for HR policies, practices, and programs that support the organization's values and culture.
  8. Develop and implement employee relations strategies to promote a positive workplace culture.
  9. Develop and implement strategies for effective talent sourcing and retention.
  10. Provide HR insights to drive informed decision-making and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
  11. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and infrastructure to support the organization's growth in Manila, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in HR with at least 5+ years in a senior level leadership role. Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on vendor management, project management, team leadership, employee relations, talent acquisition, and business partnership. Ability to manage HRIS workflows and analyze reporting for a variety of systems including Manpower, Paylocity, Lattice and other tools utilized to manage the workforce employee issues. Experience in building and leading HR functions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a proactive, fast-paced, results-oriented, and growth-focused environment.
