We're looking for a Drainage System Designer to join our Source Design Team working within out Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks business unit working. Working hybrid from home and the maple cross office, Hertfordshire.   Location : Working from home and the Maple Cross office, Hertfordshire Contract : Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know   Responsibilities As a Drainage System Designer , you'll be working within the Source Design team within a business unit that concentrates on utility, civils and capital project type work. The role is responsible for the design of Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) schemes.   Your day to day will include:

  • Designing SuDS drainage scheme and highway works using Microdrainage and PDS industry standard software with final drawings produced in AutoCAD.
  • Planning and organisation of tasks, people and resources to deliver projects on time and in accordance with the current design guidelines.
  What are we looking for? This role of Drainage System Designer is great for you if have:
  • Experienced in design of Drainage systems (SuDS) with the ability to work with CAD Technicians to BIM level 2
  • Incorporated/chartered with a relevant professional institution (or en-route to achieving such a qualification)
