* There have been 0 applications for this position * This job opening has been viewed 141 times «  Return to list Job Description PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: DSWD CENTRAL OFFICE PLACE OF EXAMINATION AND INTERVIEW: DSWD CENTRAL OFFICE, IBP ROAD, BATASAN COMPLEX, CONSTITUTION HILLS, QUEZON CITY NOTE: QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT/ATTACH THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS IN A COMBINED PDF FILE FORMAT WITH AT LEAST 1 MB USING THIS LINK We wish to inform you that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office has four (4) vacant Contract of Service positions with details as follows: Office: Disaster Response Management Bureau (4) PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER III Item Number : 003276,003277,003278,003279 Compensation : SG 18 (Php 46,725.00) Place of Assignment : DSWD Command Center CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education : Bachelor's degree relevant to the job Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience Eligibility : Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY-BASED) Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant on Information Technology, Computer Science, or any IT-related courses Training : At least eight (8) hours of relevant training preferably on systems analysis and design, data management, database administration, and other training along the areas of Disaster Response, Organizational Development, and Information Technology Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience on system analysis and design, data management, database administration, information and communications technology (ICT) service management, and other relevant experiences in the implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) programs, projects and activities Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility JOB DESCRIPTION The PDO III (IT) shall assist in implementing information systems (IS) for disaster monitoring, conducting assessment and evaluation of existing ISs for efficiency and effectiveness, managing of ICT resources and identifying other ICT requirements of the DSWD Command Center. Statement of Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the implementation of information systems (IS) for disaster monitoring and provide technical to end-users both in Central Office (CO) and Field Offices (FOs); 2. Assist in the assessment and evaluation of the existing ISs for efficiency and effectiveness in delivering humanitarian assistance, and recommend development/enhancement when necessary; 3. Assist in the management of ICT resources and identify other ICT requirements that may support the operations of the DSWD Command Center; 4. Adhere to the Department’s policies and procedures particularly on technology and operations, and information security; 5. Coordinate with ICTMS for ICT needs and requirements; 6. Evaluate and pilot technologies prior to major investment or deployment; 7. Facilitate maintenance of ISs and ICT resources; 8. Prepare/Craft project proposals for DSWD Command Center activities; 9. Prepare required reports; 10. Provide technical assistance to the duty personnel; 11. Receive and attend to phone calls queries; 12. Validate all information/report gathered by duty personnel in all forms of media; and 13. Perform other DROMIC-related works that may be assigned from time-to-time by the immediate supervisor and /or higher authorities. Job Outputs: 1. Project proposals and guidelines for the enhancement of ICT capabilities; 2. Memorandum and other related communications; 3.
