The Product Consultant will lead the effort to guide our customers through the implementation of our best-of-breed solutions and non-product offerings. They provide ongoing advice and support throughout the installation and deployment of our products to ensure customers derive maximum value. This team of experts is essential to our customers’ success and team members act as trusted advisors before, during and after software rollout. - Independently manage Implementations of company software solutions and non-product offerings.
- Provide configuration best practices based on the customers’ requirements.
- Perform product or Microsoft Office configuration to meet sophisticated customer needs.
- Independently lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Act as a trusted advisor for the team and for customers through all aspects of projects.
- Make a material impact on improving process, deliverables, best practices.
- Act as a customer advocate by providing feedback to our internal teams related to product improvements.
- Work independently.
- Complete product training.
- Engage with your team and learn the nuts and bolts of our business, and where our business goals.
- Familiarize yourself with our technology by working with teammates, configuring software, and using the existing documentation to learn the products.
- Gain an understanding of our procedures and tools.
- Learn the implementation process used for implanting our software with our customers.
- Shadow implementations of co-workers to gain a deeper understanding of the product and process and to support team members.
- Begin to lead software implementations.
- Follow the implementation process for regular status meetings with customers, conduct ad-hoc meetings based on customer needs and ask questions to ensure you are supporting the customer with the most appropriate information and guidance.
- Complete any relevant product certification.
- Provide feedback and identify areas for improvement for employee onboarding, implementation processes, best practice and other aspects of Solutions Engineering.
- Independently lead complex projects to successful conclusion.
- Provide customers with product and implementation best practices.
- Manage customer project deadlines and ensure projects are on track to complete on time and on target and customers are satisfied with the results.
- Provide assistance on projects owned by other team members as needed.
- Lead the effort to improve one or more areas of employee onboarding, implementation processes, best practices or other aspects of Solutions Engineering.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in agreed to product areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Or related work experience
- 3+ years related experience in Product Implementation and/or Software implementation work
- **Must have experience with CRM system, Salesforce
- **Must have a few certifications and a passion for continued education
- **Requires engaging in Salesforce community and an active Salesforce account profile.
- **Experience with implementations of company’s software solutions and non-product offerings.
- Must have excellent communication skills and able to articulate conversations well
- Experience with Snagit or other graphics program or ability to learn graphics programs
- Experience with xml or html authoring tools/HTML experience is a plus
- Experience deploying enterprise software, preferably in law firms is a plus
- Salesforce certified is a plus
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to collaborate with internal team members and customers.
- Capable of managing internal relationships effectively with the ability to have difficult conversations around software issues and status of projects in a clear and timely manner.
- Requires being detail oriented and have analytical skills to review implementation details.
- Ability to provide excellent customers in a support or consulting role
- Ability to learn new software applications quickly as they are being developed. A strong desire to keep learning new things!
- Ability to provide ongoing advice and support throughout the installation and deployment of our products to ensure customers derive maximum value
- Strong MS Office skills including advanced knowledge of Word - styles and formats
- Able to attend some meetings in different time zones (US and UK)
