Role Objective The incumbent will be responsible for the development and change management of the integrated Enterprise Channels/ digital solutions, including but not limited to mobile banking, internet banking, ATM/CDM/VTM. Call Center/IVR, Website etc. The job holder will be responsible for all channel digitalization/ channel modernization/ Omnichannel / channel convergence for better customer experience from IT perspective in coordination with Business and DS&IT teams. The incumbent will oversee the Senior Specialists and Specialists in terms of the technical implementation and availability of Banking Channels, requirement analysis, design & development of multiple Applications, partner with Business Solutions team, BUs, and Vendors/Service Providers, oversee development of change plan and monitor change request requirements, ensure optimal management, control, risk tolerance, and continuing maintenance and support for the BUs. Educational Qualifications:

  • University graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or any other related technical discipline.
  • Master’s degree in Management/ Technology any other related discipline will be an added advantage.
Experience:
  • 10-15 years of total experience in financial services/banking industry, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline.
  • Significant Experience in Banking Channels Applications and related digital transformation.
  • Professional certification such as ITIL/PMP/ Prince2/ CBAP or any other Industry certified technical qualification is preferable
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute towards the formulation/implementation of overall department strategy /goals and align Business Solutions function towards the same.
  • Work closely with the Dept. Head, in formulation of digital solutions/Omnichannel capabilities and roadmap for the Enterprise Channels in line with Business requirements.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships across business and IT stakeholders to support sound decision-making in terms of business solutions, and channel digitization efforts.
  • Stay abreast of and contribute towards development of standards, systems and best practices related to emerging business technologies, and contemporary digital design concepts shaping digital experience across financial services sector.
  • Stay abreast of channel ecosystem/ value proposition, challenges, and suggest optimized solutions in close coordination with the Department Head/BUs.
  • Oversee the team and work cross-functionally in delivering scalable digital solutions across the banking channels to meet business needs across customer touchpoints that deliver business value.
  • Oversee the team and partner with the Business, Strategy and DS&IT teams in terms of digitalization/ channel modernization/ Omnichannel / channel convergence initiatives/efforts.
  • Deliver business channel digital transformation, performance improvement, leveraging industry best practices & proven practices using various optimized solutions in liaison with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of digital channels to enable seamless customer experience and expand engagement.
