The Group Securities is a well-established investment organization working in the finance industry since 1989, as a company devoted to the stock exchange. It was licensed once Qatar Stock Exchange was founded in1997 and provides an array of investment services to more than 400,000investors, with portfolios exceeding QR 100 billion. As brokerage firm, The Group Securities finances margin trading and operates as liquidity provider for the listed shares and ETFs. The company has a paid-up capital worth (QR 1billion ) and has been continuously posting profit since its inception. Besides being licensed by Qatar Financial Market Authority to exercise these activities , The Group Securities is also a member of Qatar Stock Exchange. Duties Legal Analysis: Finding the best solutions to achieve The Group's goals. Compliance Works: Ensuring that all The Group businesses are following the law. Advice and Training: Acting as an internal advisor and providing training for The Group’s personnel. Skills and Requirements Legal Representation: Acting as The Group representative to external parties. Experience in establishing financial institutions and maintaining their business continuity. More than 15 years of legal experience in corporate and legal institutions. Strong knowledge of ETFs and IPOs. Methodical with outstanding planning abilities. Analytical thinking with the ability to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations. Excellent communications kills. BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field Certified compliance professional is a plus.
