Ready to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Protein Business to be part of our Maintenance Team at Americana Foods in Kuwait. Responsibilities Maintenance Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for protein production equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure that maintenance programs align with production goals and quality standards.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and specialists.
  • Foster a safety-first culture and promote teamwork and collaboration within the maintenance department.
Equipment Reliability:
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize the reliability and lifespan of production equipment.
  • Coordinate and oversee corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the maintenance department.
  • Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall equipment effectiveness
Spare Parts Management:
  • Develop and maintain an effective spare parts inventory system to ensure the availability of critical components.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers to streamline the procurement of spare parts.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
  • Provide regular reports on budget performance and variance analysis.
Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the maintenance team.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management within the food or protein industry.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a position of similar responsibility preferably in FMCG industry
