Ready to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Protein Business to be part of our Maintenance Team at Americana Foods in Kuwait. Responsibilities Maintenance Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for protein production equipment and facilities.
- Ensure that maintenance programs align with production goals and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and specialists.
- Foster a safety-first culture and promote teamwork and collaboration within the maintenance department.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize the reliability and lifespan of production equipment.
- Coordinate and oversee corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the maintenance department.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall equipment effectiveness
- Develop and maintain an effective spare parts inventory system to ensure the availability of critical components.
- Establish relationships with suppliers to streamline the procurement of spare parts.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
- Provide regular reports on budget performance and variance analysis.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the maintenance team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance management within the food or protein industry.
- 7-10 years of experience in a position of similar responsibility preferably in FMCG industry
