Chief Engineer

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement engineering strategies in alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
• Provide technical leadership in the development of long-term plans and strategies for the engineering department.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate engineering projects with overall organizational plans.

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.

• Ensure the technical integrity and quality of engineering deliverables.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to drive innovation within the engineering department.

• Ensure that engineering activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes.
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs to address compliance issues and implement necessary changes.

• Develop and manage the engineering department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management, and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of engineering efforts.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Several years of progressive experience in engineering roles, with a track record of increasing responsibility.
• Experience in a leadership or management role, preferably at the senior level.

• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and practices relevant to the industry.
• Familiarity with relevant technologies, tools, and methodologies.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
