Requirements The Office of Admissions is responsible for recruiting and admitting students to Georgetown University in Qatar's (GU-Q) Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree program. We are looking for an Admissions Communications and Marketing Manager, who will develop, implement and refine marketing and communications plans aligned with strategic enrollment goals and create innovative strategies to engage with prospective students. Key Accountabilities
- Develop, implement, and refine multi-faceted marketing and communication plans that align with the university's strategic enrollment goals.
- Create innovative strategies to engage with prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, and other stakeholders using traditional and digital platforms.
- Contribute to the strategic enrollment goals of the university by attracting and retaining diverse and dynamic international applicants.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content, including brochures, videos, social media posts, and email campaigns, to effectively showcase the university's programs, values, and unique offerings.
- Manage the Admissions Office's online presence, ensuring that the website and social media platforms consistently reflect the institution's identity and messaging.
- Collaborate with the Admissions team to develop and execute effective digital recruitment campaigns, including webinars, virtual tours, and online events.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Associate Director and other stakeholders to maintain and elevate the university's brand identity through consistent and impactful messaging across all communication channels.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance the university's visibility and reputation in the higher education landscape.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in enrollment management and higher education marketing.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making and identify areas for differentiation and growth.
- Collaborate with relevant GU-Q units to ensure seamless execution of integrated marketing campaigns and events.
- Effectively allocate resources, set priorities, and manage budgets related to marketing and communications efforts.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Admissions & Strategic Enrollment Management to strategize and execute comprehensive recruitment plans to attract a diverse range of qualified international applicants.
- Participate in admissions road shows, recruitment fairs, school visits, and admissions-related conferences and conventions to engage with prospective students and promote the Georgetown University in Qatar brand.
- Other similar duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in admissions, marketing, or communications within a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communication strategies.
- Proficiency in utilizing digital marketing tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with international and multicultural environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of Georgetown University's mission, values, and programs is preferred.
