Each request that comes to us from clients is unique and the success of turning these requests into awarded projects depends on the quality of proposals that we submit.**About the Position**The purchaser is responsible whenever the organization Our work is based on our relationships. Our business developers are the front of our organization and the link between our organization and the general market.**Job Objective**Ensure that our purchases are:- Fit for our purpose- At a reasonable cost- Under terms that are fair to us and our suppliers**Job Post**: Cairo, perhaps with occasional travel**Key Functions**Our teams require materials and services both from the local and international markets. Some of the functions a purchase would perform are:- Finding and sourcing materials obtaining and comparing pricing;- Negotiating with suppliers, often in foreign countries and foreign languages;- Determining what is a reasonable price based on metrics when it's challenging to get a quotation**Basic Requirements**- have a bachelor's degree in some field;- have worked in an international organization that deals with an international team.- be fluent in English, other languages are an advantage.- is personable and genuinely enjoys dealing with people;- has excellent communication skills;- is motivated by finding a solution to a problem;- is fundamentally fair and looks for solutions that will develop and maintain our relationships with suppliers;- is able to work under pressure**Help us, and help yourself.**Maybe they can help you identify if this is the job for you:- Who is someone who has been a long-term supplier to you, perhaps even in your personal life?
