Job Responsibilities
- Execute engineering design, FEED, and detail engineering experience, along with costing estimation for proposals in telecom systems.
- Responsible for complete engineering document activities, including preparing block diagrams, functional design specifications, datasheets, MR, equipment layouts, interconnection drawings, termination drawings, and cabinet drawings.
- Participate in technical bid evaluations, vendor document review, and approvals.
- Maintain technical competence in discipline according to standards and pursue continuous professional development.
- Provide discipline support to the business.
- Stay aware of relevant regulatory frameworks, legislation changes, initiatives, and industry technology developments, and promote these to direct reports.
- Provide discipline input to scope definition and execution.
- Deputize for principal as required.
- Support and supervise tasks delegated to direct reports.
- Execute assigned personal objectives.
- Manage third-party suppliers in the execution of engineering delivery.
- Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline-specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in audits and incident investigations as required.
- Coach and mentor as delegated.
- Provide input to the performance management of direct reports.
- Manage and supervise direct reports.
