  Essential capabilities 1. Demonstrated expertise in database designing, data modelling and core component implementation using Oracle or Postgres. 2. Sound knowledge of data integration and relational data modelling. 3. Resourceful in optimization and performance tuning, eliminating timeouts and deadlocks, refactoring long running queries to reduce concurrency issues. 4. Excels in automating the backup and purging processes, scaling production Databases to handle growing traffic with active users. 5. Competent in handling reverse engineering of existing application. 6. Experienced in ETL processes, ETL testing and Power BI reporting. Overseeing the mapping of data sources and data movement between interfaces with ensuring data quality. 7. Handling requirement gathering direct from stakeholders and working on technical documentation including SRS, Test Cases and Test Plan 8. Handling the release management activities and ensuring the monthly iterations are completed without any issues 9. Basic knowledge of Cloud architecture, Snowflakes, Python. 10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 11. Robust acumen in requirement gathering, resource management, project planning and achieving deadlines.  Experience

• It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and experience: 
• Data analysis to strategize migration of database objects and application data
• Database modelling, designing and translating business requirements into technical requirements. Writing System requirements, creating test cases and test plan
• Data visualization, Validation between DB and Endur through database testing (SQL)

  Key tasks; accountabilities and challenges of this role 1. Data analysis for Postgres or Oracle DB. 2. Development/modification of major database components 3. Data transformation using SSIS built in transformations including Aggregation, Audit, Cache Transform and Data Mining 4. Data visualization, Validation between DB and Endur through database testing (SQL)5. Creating and publishing analytical reports using Power BI 6. Project management activities including resource planning, stakeholder management and weekly reporting for business users
