Facade Engineer

Façade Engineer My client is a specialist Façade engineering design consultancy seeks a Façade Engineer to join their London team working on UK and overseas projects. Working with some of the world’s leading architects on projects including research facilities, high-rise towers, public and civil buildings and commercial offices, you’ll join a dynamic office providing a stimulating and highly sociable work environment, international experience and great opportunities for personal development. Qualifications/experience:

• Degree in engineering or architecture
• 1 - 3 years’ proven UK consultancy experience in façade design and detailing
• Working knowledge of BS/EN standards
• A rounded knowledge of the engineering aspects of facades
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Manage projects and mentor junior staff
• Experience with CAD Software
• Able oversee others in use of relevant design software, including for structural analysis, building physic assessments and glass selection tools
