Roles and responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in core Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Security, with a focus on ensuring the seamless operation, security, and performance of IT infrastructure. Extensive 8-10 years experience working with Active Directory, including user, group, and security management. MUST Have Skills

Key Responsibilities

Active Directory Management: Manage, support, and troubleshoot Active Directory environments including domain controllers, user authentication, group policies, and AD migrations.
SharePoint Administration: Configure, maintain, and support SharePoint environments, ensuring high availability and security.
Microsoft Office 365: Administer and manage Office 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.), ensuring optimal performance and user support.
Azure Administration & Security: Oversee the implementation and management of Azure services, ensuring compliance with security standards. Provide expertise in Azure AD, networking, and security best practices.
Infrastructure Support: Support and optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including server environments, virtual machines, and storage systems.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure quick recovery in case of a system failure or disaster.
Regularly test recovery procedures to verify the integrity of backup systems and the ability to recover systems in a timely manner.
Ensure that critical infrastructure components have appropriate redundancy to avoid single points of failure.

Desired candidate profile

Infrastructure Design and Planning:
- Design and plan the IT infrastructure architecture, ensuring it meets the current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Select appropriate hardware, software, and network configurations based on business requirements.
Server Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (e.g., Windows Server , Linux , VMware , Hyper-V ).
- Monitor server performance, ensure uptime, and optimize configurations to meet performance and availability requirements.
- Manage server backups, ensuring data is securely backed up and easily recoverable in case of failure.
Storage Solutions:
- Implement and maintain storage solutions such as SAN (Storage Area Network) , NAS (Network Attached Storage) , or cloud-based storage solutions.
- Ensure data is efficiently stored, backed up, and recoverable when needed.
- Optimize storage capacity and manage disk space utilization to prevent bottlenecks or performance issues.
Networking and Connectivity:
- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) , wide area networks (WANs) , VPNs , and Wi-Fi networks .
- Manage network devices such as routers , switches , firewalls , and load balancers to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network issues related to connectivity, performance, or security and take corrective actions.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions, working with platforms like AWS , Microsoft Azure , or Google Cloud to support scalable, flexible infrastructure.
- Migrate on-premises infrastructure to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and optimizing cloud resources for cost and performance.
- Monitor cloud usage, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources and cost management.
Virtualization:
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware , Hyper-V , KVM ) to create virtual servers and environments that increase resource utilization.
- Ensure that virtualized systems are optimized for performance and high availability.
- Manage virtual networks, virtual storage, and ensure effective resource allocation.
Security Management:
- Implement security policies and procedures to protect infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure the integrity of organizational data.
- Manage firewalls , intrusion detection systems (IDS) , virtual private networks (VPNs) , and endpoint protection to safeguard against unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses.
