This role serves as the first line of defense for the Business Banking division, executing the bank's strategy and governance processes at the business unit level to minimize losses from internal process failures, inadequate controls, and emerging risks. What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and Improve Processes: Assess existing business processes and create documentation for improvements.
- Process enhancements: Focus on enhancing processes and managing implementation procedures.
- Review Procedures: Evaluate department procedures and policies for effectiveness.
- Customer Insights: Integrate customer feedback into action plans and represent their voice throughout the product lifecycle.
- Complaint Handling: Develop and implement a robust complaint handling training scheme.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and implement business process improvements.
- Process Changes: Review and recommend process changes, product developments, and customer communications.
- Performance Management: Define goals, key performance indicators, and manage team performance.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement functional strategies aligned with the bank's vision and mission.
- Leadership and Reporting: Lead the team, manage project lifecycles, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the financial sector preferred.
- Familiarity with sales processes and related systems.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic solutions.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
