About the Opportunity: With over 120 personnel currently on site, PIMS Group are now seeking motivated individuals with Instrumentation Technician experience to contribute to the success of this operation for a range of works. These opportunities are vital to operational success making this a unique chance for seasoned underground coal professionals to showcase their expertise and contribute to the common goals of this operation. Key Responsibilities: As an Instrumentation Technician for PIMS Group, you will be ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the mine's gas extraction and distribution systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in gas plants, guaranteeing the reliability of gas monitoring and control equipment. The position requires a unique blend of electrical expertise, a profound understanding of mining operations, and a commitment to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in challenging underground environments, contributing significantly to the mine's operational excellence and safety standards. Qualifications & Experience:- Certificate III Instrumentation
- Certificate IV EEHA
- LVR/CPR
- RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
- RIIWHS204D Work safely at heights
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in challenging underground environments
