BlockTexx is a clean technology company which diverts unwanted textiles away from landfill and converts the fabrics into high value raw materials for reuse. Polyester and cellulose are recovered from textiles and clothing via a commercial scale, fibre separation process and transformed into valuable raw materials. The state-of-the-art textile recovery facility is located in the Logan region of Brisbane. The facility is designed to process 10,000 tonnes of textiles into high quality recycled raw materials for use across many industries.
About the Role
We are looking for a Production Supervisor for the afternoon shift, where you will play a key role in overseeing daily production operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, training and efficiency. This role is focused on achieving our production targets through leading a specialised and well-trained production team. BlockTexx is an innovative, early-stage company that will offer the successful candidate a rare opportunity to grow with the business. The role reports directly to the Production Manager.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise production activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Mentor, coach, and train operational staff to ensure clear understanding of duties and standards.
- Monitor and document production output, address operational issues, and ensure all quality checks are completed accurately.
- Drive a culture of improvement by setting standards, implementing procedural controls, and optimising efficiency.
- Work closely with other supervisors, departments, and contractors to support overall production goals.

Start on the day shift to acquire essential knowledge and transition to leading the afternoon shift.Key Position Requirements
- Proven experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment; chemical handling experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrable mechanical aptitude.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Ability and desire to learn in a new facility.
- Strong organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety.
- Basic MS Office skills required.
