The Safety, Health & Wellbeing Officer will be based at our site in Warragul, Victoria, and will assist to support and contribute to Flavorite’s health, safety, and employee wellbeing agenda. Reporting into the Safety, Health and Wellbeing Lead, this role will play a key part in the implementation and maintenance of strategic programs and initiatives and will be responsible for assisting with Injury Management, Return to Work and Risk Management. What You Will Be Doing As the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Officer, you will be working in collaboration with the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Lead and wider team to assist and support the operationalising of our strategy to ensure Flavorite is a safe, healthy and thriving workplace. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting people leaders to align Safety, Health & Wellbeing objectives with business goals and driving our safety culture and compliance.
- Support health and wellbeing initiatives, risk management (including hazard identification and incident management), and assisting with the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems.
- Injury Management: Assist with the management of Workcover claims and Return to Work processes to support early intervention, treatment and RTW of injured workers in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Management and analysis of data to ensure records are accurate, compliant and allow us to identify trends used to drive continuous improvement.
- Supporting change management and innovation to ensure Safety, Health & Wellbeing initiatives are streamlined across multiple sites.

- Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent (desired).
- Qualifications in return-to-work management (desired).
- Entry level experience working in WHS, return-to-work management and a fast-paced environment is highly valued.
- Entry level experience delivering safety initiatives and managing workplace risks is highly regarded.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively to contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Basic understanding of Australian legislation and motivation to continuously learn and stay up to date with legislative changes.
- The ability to problem-solve and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Highly organised and able to manage time effectively.
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and focus on maintaining accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
