Role Overview The Global Sales Director is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share for luxury hospitality brands in West and South India. This role requires a dynamic sales strategist with deep industry relationships and a proven track record in the luxury travel segment. The position demands a high-impact individual who can strengthen brand positioning, build strategic partnerships, and maximise business generation through B2B sales, trade marketing, and high-level stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Lead sales efforts and revenue growth for partner hotels in West and South India.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with revenue targets.
- Build and nurture high-value relationships with luxury travel agents, tour operators, wedding planners, and MICE agencies.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities through strategic trade activations.
- Enhance brand desirability and awareness within key luxury travel segments.
- Leverage competitor intelligence and market insights to refine positioning.
- Represent partner hotels at top-tier trade events, sales blitz campaigns, and roadshows.
- Curate and lead immersive familiarisation trips for travel partners.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to fine-tune strategies.
- Implement high-impact promotions tailored to seasonal and market conditions.
- Drive ROI-driven sales initiatives to maximise revenue potential.
- Work closely with internal teams (central planning, concierge, and reservations) to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Mandatory: Graduate in Hotel Management or prior expertise working with a luxury hotel brand.
- Mandatory: Experience in outbound sales for luxury hotel brands is mandatory.
- Minimum 10+ years in luxury hospitality sales with a strong revenue growth track record.
- Established relationships with key travel trade partners in the luxury segment.
- Experience leading sales teams and managing high-value accounts.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and sales execution skills.
- Ability to develop high-impact sales strategies and align them with business objectives.
- Agile decision-maker with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
- Deep understanding of luxury travel trends, guest preferences, and destination insights.
- Knowledge of premium hospitality offerings and ability to match them with client needs.
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
- Operational & Business Acumen
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and high-net-worth clientele.
- Openness to extensive travel across India and occasionally internationally.
- Proficiency in sales CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
