POSITION SUMMARY: Extensive experiences in a management role for the Facilities organization in precision power supply manufacturing factory for semiconductor, industrial and medical systems applications (15+ years). Expected fundamental roles & responsibilities include new factory construction and existing spaces facilitation. This position also requires budget control, project schedule management, and proper work coordination with multiple cross-functional teams & stakeholders for production, office, and warehouse. This position is to partner with the local Facilities teams and report directly to a director of APAC Facilities as a part of the Global Real Estate & Facilities team. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Project management in partnering with the local Facilities managers in managing multiple projects in different locations: New factory construction Existing operation and office spaces expansion and facilitation Existing facility equipment and system improvement Engineering documents review and approval including: Budgetary cost estimation Project plans and designs Engineering calculation and design specification Project schedule etc. Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications. Accountable for facilities department and related CAPEX budgeting process, and overseeing the proper budgeting and utilization of production department budget. Overseeing all major and minor refurbishment works (planning, pre-construction, construction and post construction), coordinating with designers and contractors to ensure timely completion in accordance with country standards. Developing and retaining competent production workforce by providing leadership, coaching, training, and motivation. Developing and managing plans and annual budget for department and function, scheduling expenditure and analyzing cost and variances. Strategizing, formulating, developing and driving key strategic business initiatives, service insight contribution and standardization of operations, policies, guidelines and design related to the properties. Controls building design, constructions, installations and maintenance. Co-working with the local Facilities organization to provide an effective and professional facility service and preventive maintenance to support production, warehouse and office. Oversees and directs a team of Maintenance technicians, Facilities operation engineers and Security area. Reviews the site facilities operations to ensure compliance with governmental specifications and suitability for occupancy. Plans, budgets and schedules various facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for construction and acquisitions. Supervises maintenance and alteration of all areas and equipment in the buildings as well as layouts, arrangements, and housekeeping of all facilities. Analysis and standardizes various facilities procedures to improve efficiencies. Drives project & activity execution compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Other duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT: During the new factory construction, works in a temporary site office with an EPCM firm and various construction contractors. Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (phone, PC, copier, etc.). Facilitates and organizes regular construction progress meetings with local governments, landlord, EPCM firm, contractors, internal and external AEI stakeholders. Requires travel in domestic and AEI factories in other countries. Needs to respond to emergency facility related situations. SKILLS: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English. Good organizational skills. Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office software. QUALIFICATION: College or BS degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering or equivalent education and/or experience. 15+ years of experience in semiconductor power supply manufacturing industry, semiconductor or semiconductor equipment maintenance facilities & construction management. 5+ years of Facilities / construction management experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
