Sr. Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

The missions and responsibilities of the Engineer/Sr. Engineer- Civil Infrastructures are:

• India and Overseas site visits during various phases of the project (pre-bid, construction, Operation and Maintenance) and prepare site visit report, site feasibility assessment and remedial measures for Solar PV plant as per requirement.
• Prepare site feasibility report based on the desktop assessment and site visit.
• Review Preliminary investigation reports, including Soil test, Soil liquefaction, soil Corrosion, Pile pull out test (POT), Seismic hazard etc.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and procedural guidelines.
• Preparation of specifications for various Civil engineering activities including Soil test, Pile Pull Out test (POT), Corrosion, Seismic hazard and Soil liquefaction studies etc.
• Prepare design spreadsheets for various foundations related to solar PV project, switchyard, transmission tower and wind project.
• Preparation of SOP’s and Checklists for the methodology followed for various activities.
• Review and design various type of foundations (pile foundation, ramming, screw, isolated, etc.,)
• Technical support to O&M and provide best suitable solution for any rectification work related to Civil damages including but not limited to plant Fence, foundation Cracks/Erosion, Corrosion including above and below ground etc.
• Co-ordination with different contractors and vendors for various activities.
• Appropriate solutions to be provided at different phase of the project related to the soil.
• Co-ordination with project team during construction and resolved queries arise during construction related to engineering and quality.
• Knowledge of various IS,ISO,IRC ASTM, ACI, API, ASCE,EN and BS etc., standards related to the Engineering deliverables.
• In depth knowledge of various materials used in construction with their properties and usage.
• Knowledge/Proficiency in Wind tower foundation design as well as Overhead transmission line tower design would be an added advantage.

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering BE/BTech/MTech or equivalent (Full time)
• 4–8 years of relevant work experience in power generation sector with specific knowledge, expertise and experience in developing or designing / review of solar PV projects (Experience in Wind project would be added advantage).
• Working experience in several of the following areas:
• Coordination of large sized EPC projects
• Renewable consultant
• BOQ preparation
• Design experience in overseas projects
• Proficiency in Auto-CAD, Plaxis 2D 3D, L pile A Pile shaft, Caster
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
