A Maintenance HVAC Technician oversees heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, conducting inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Skills
- Observe and implement Company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Policies and Procedures inside company premises as well as at customer and supplier/service provider sites.
- Support supervisors concerning accomplishing tasks while referring to uncommon personnel or technical issues.
- Maintain the repair history of the equipment.
- Carry out diverse heating, plumbing, and refrigeration-related tasks.
- Perform maintenance on all types of motors, including AC and DC motor repairs, connections, overhauling, and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct checks, troubleshooting, and new installations for sensors, flowmeters, and transducers.
- Repair all air conditioning and cooling systems, including central A/C and chillers.
- Able to work at height.
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors for repairs and maintenance.
- Analyze the key reasons for equipment malfunctions and provide the easiest rectification method.
- Conduct monthly/weekly inspections for buildings, shops, tanks, fire protection systems, fire alarm systems, plumbing lines, and lighting to ensure the facility's preventive maintenance.
- Perform monthly inspections and services for all ACs in the buildings and shops to ensure that gas refrigerant, fans, and filters are in good condition.
- Perform monthly services for all ACs in the facility, including cleaning filters and washing inside/outside units.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Keep a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment to a like-new appearance, according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
- Comply with safety regulations, laws, and internal rules.
- Wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
